I've run CWShredder and it says I'm clean, but I know CWS is there since SpyBot S&D gets fowled up with it. SpyBot listed the problem in it's log as SmartSearch and said that it was imbedded in the registry and would clean it when my computer is rebooted. Rebooted system and SpyBot would not run and system would not start. Manually rebooted and system ran scandisk automatically... suck! Ran Shredder again, and once again nothing was found. Thanks in advance for any help that can be provided in removing CoolWebSearch or any related malware applications! By the way I was recently helped with removing AdClicker-BW and friends so I have gone through the checklist and advice received, but this one app seems to be illusive to my efforts so far.
