sometimes when i start up my laptop it says operating system not found. i dont uderstand why its doing this because i just reinstalled the operating system last night with the dell tech support guys. al drivers are installed and the computer is faster than ever. i would like to know why this is doing this.
thanks for any help possible.

It may be that there is a problem with the system. If when the machine powers up the disk is not recognized, then it can not boot from the disk. It could be the disk or the motherboard, it is hard to say without more information on what exactly it is doing.

You could try running the diagnostics for the disk to see if that turns up anything. If the machine is still covered by Dell, you might want to talk to them as it could be a known problem.
