i have just been having loads of fun over in the remove malware forum, things seem pretty clean now but there is 2 things still niggling me, first thing every now and then i have to go in to
connect to
show all connections
local area connection
internet protocol (TCP/IP)
"then check" obtain DNS server automatically "instead of" use the following DNS adresses

why would do i have to do this.

problem 2, i cannot update avg or ewido , probably any of my anti x and y programmes for that matter. I was told on the malware section to download firefox but it doesnt really work, it stakes a fair bit to load up then wont send me to a site once it does..

I have been told that these are probably connection isssuies as oppessed to any spy ware etc etc.
cheers for any help
