Overclocking Query

hi guys,

hope u are all well.

ok here goes!!!

i'm having some trouble over here.

i would like to overclock my PC as it is rather slow for my liking. but when i go into my BIOS to do this i am unable to alter the CPU speed or the voltage rating. (its all faded out)

i am running XP SP2, on a P4, 2.66 GHz processor with 512 MB RAM.

My PC came from Dell (Dimension 2400) and I think they have deliberately supplied it like this so that overclocking cannot be done.

can anyone suggest any tweaks or cheets or software that would allow me to speed this snail up?

best regards

It's surely not a snail compared to my windows machine... :whistling:

Download Tune Up utilities it's a great program for getting your pc to perform better.

This is a good read from geekstogo for tweaking xp.
