tubui what you can do is get a usb audio adapter. it will act as a seperate soundcard. and you can change your music player to output itself via the usb adapter. thus keeping your normal soundcard free so you can use that for your headphones. winamp is a good music player and it is easy to change i'ts options. i have two pci soundcards for DJing and i have winamp setup so i can have it play music, while a different song is playing simultaniously without interfering with the other on windows media player. but with the usb sound card/adapter seting things up will be much simpler
