Hi I Have a problem with the windows firewall and wanted to fix it. I would appreciate much any help. My windows firewall changed from being active to be without supervision, from the green colour to the yellow colour. I think it has changed because a virus may have entered my computer. Hey there mauriolazabal, welcome to Geeks To Go Forums.

Goto:
> Start
> Control Panel
> Security Centre

Once you are in security centre under "firewall" click "Recommendations...", then unselect "I have firewall solution...". Click "OK".

If you think this is a malware related problem read on. When you have finished posting through your log and the staff have taken a look at it, if the your problem still persists please post back here.

Please read this: Read This Before Posting A Hijackthis Log (Click on the link)

That will give you steps that will help you clean up 70% of the problems yourself. Then please download "Hijackthis" and run Hijackthis with log. Save the log file here: Malware Removal - HiJackThis Logs Go Here

When you have followed all these steps. A Geeks To Go Staff Member will help you fix your problem.

(Note: Please be patient, the "Malware Forum" is a very busy place and a two or three day wait is not unusual.)

Thank you and goodluck. :whistling:
