hey what are some of the good modern combat kinda games? aside from the obvious like battlefield 2 and such does any kno any good ones?\

I like CSS, there are a few smaller ones, the two biggies im looking fordward to coming out relativley soon ar flashpoint 2 and the other non flashpoint branded flashpoint sequel they look great the original still stands the test of time so new ones will be great.

The new far cry game looks to be good as well its going to be a while. GRAW is also good its out now.

Assuming you mean for the PC, CS:S is my favorite game.

Any of the Rainbow Six's before the Lockdown one (which went in the completely opposite direction of tactical [shoot-em-up]). So my suggestions are:

Rainbow Six 3 and all the previous ones
Battlefield 2: Deluxe Edition
Counter-Strike: Source
Ghost Recon (I suck at them big time, but they're still great games)

And right now, that's about it.
