blue screen and stop to restart but same thing

:whistling: please just bought used micron elite pro i think.the thing worked fine for a while, left on
overnight,the next day it has blue screen and stop timer and shutdown.when it comes back up the
same thing over and over again.can not do any thing except get to start menu,, can anyone help

I have the same problem, but mine does it before windows even loads.

Start the System Restore Utility at a command prompt

1. Restart your computer, and keep tapping F8 during the initial start-up until you get options, select Safe Mode with a Command Prompt then press enter.

2. Log on to your computer with an administrator account or with an account that has administrator credentials.

3. Type the following command at a command prompt, and then press ENTER:

%systemroot%\system32\restore\rstrui.exe

4. Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to restore your computer to an earlier state.

Look for the most recent system checkpoint created before the errors to restore from

I can get as far as restoring it, but during the restore i get another blue screen error and the cycle starts all over again! Its driving me nuts :whistling:

System restore could be elusive on 2000, sorry but just noticed your OS

Can you get safe mode

there are no prior starts in registry

thanx in advance for all you guy's your great
my problem now is this i start it runs to and loads windows 2000 page
after that a pop up of system shut down will restart but just does it again
also say's by NT auth/system and a status code 1073741819
i am not the smartest rock in the box when it comes to a computor
but i can write down and follow instructions any help would be great
thanx again,can anyone tell me what it means, just bought the thing used
hope i did'nt lose thanx

it also says shutdown by nt auth/system with code of 1073741819
whats that all about thanx for the help
