I was using IE, but I just loaded mozilla on the advice of my geek brother. I ran spybot and trend micro housecall to clean up any problems and all is better except one thing. After i dial up my ISP, it connects, but then creates a new dial up connection and tries to dial some unknown number after disconnecting me. If I pick up the phone line I can hear verbal error messages and it doesn't connect. In a minute or so I can reconnect to my ISP and everything is fine. The only other thing is a box occasionally popping up saying "already running". Please....help..........

One other note to go along with the log file-that searchmeup.com keeps inserting itself into my registry as my home page, even after I go through regedit, change it and reboot per the instructions from trend micro. Any help is GREATLY appreciated.Thanks

Reboot your computer
Download AVG- Anti Virus Tool and please run it.

Reboot your PC.

thanks ditto-I did everything as you wrote and am adding the new log.The AVG program found a trojan horse dialer.7.b and locked it away. I'll give it a day or two and see if it alll stays normal and re-post the results. Thanks for all your help.
