Can anyone shed any light on this for me.

I get this message that says something about restart when i try to fix the problems, whats this about ?

I assume it's asking you to restart so it can solve the problems it found.

Please Backup All the Data you Need and then Leave the computer to finish the chkdsk on your Screen , sometimes after chkdsk you cannot boot the system if there is some problem with Hard Drive of your system , it is not a virus or spyware issue , this is windows xp file system or Hard drive issue.
NOTE : Chkdsk May Take long time to fix the error in windows xp file system or mark the bad block on the hard drive
