I have seen this now on a few pc's when i have tried to run CHKDSK in a command prompt.

Create Account How it WorksCheck disk needs a file system on the drives to be able to check them. Windows chkdsk needs the drives to be formatted in FAT32 or NTFS to work. RAW drives means they have not been formatted or the formatting was lost.
