When finalising a DVD RW the unit hung and we are now unable to view the DVD on any device (DVD player, desktop etc). We have tried to download some of the free recovery tools but the disk is not recognised. The disk did contain data and was previously viewed on the device until such time as we attempted to finalise. :whistling:

Does anyone have any bright ideas about how best to recover our fond memories from Florida? We are devastated at potentially losing the only copy we have of our visit 4 years ago.

Hope u manage to get your pics of the disc, but I strongly recommend you save your collections on the PC in future and leave them on until you've successfully transferred them all to a DVD-R (not DVD-RW). Use DVD-RW only for interim backups of the pics, but use DVD-R when you have enough to fill it.
