Ok. I have ran multiple spyware scans. and i have also had my HJT log examined so i know spyware is not the cause of me losing internet. It happens almost once a week. I will be on my computer doing whatever. WHen suddenly everything will disconnect and i lose internet entirely. The computer that has this happen is wired to my router so i dont see why it is losing connection. When it does this i try everything to fix it. I run the windows repair thing on connections. I have even tried winsockXPfix and nothing works. Only my computer that is wired loses internet. ANybody have anything that can help?? My two wireless computer work fine but not my good computer. Somebody HELP!!!

Forgot to mention. WIndows says the problem is that it cannot acquire the network address. I ran the repair tool. Disabled and re enabled the connection multiple times. And i have used IPconfig /release then ipconfig /renew and nothing can acquire the network address.

Remove your Network card from Device manager, reboot and reinstall the drivers. Identify your NIC first and get the driver before you do that.
