Hi there,

I've got myself a new system, with dual core cpu's running at 4k mhz, 2 gig of ram and dual 7800 gtx's in sli mode.

My question is, i've downloaded a program called fraps to test the frame rate of games like Quake 4 and Oblivion at high settings, and the system still seems to struggle, at least at highest possible setting ( at 1600 x 1200 )

Can someone let me know if i should do away with SLI, or if it's the way of the future, because regarding this benchmark:

http://www.gamespot....2217/index.html

I should be getting close to 100 fps for quake 4 as the dual sli 7900 geforce cards reach around 114 fps at max everything, when instead i get around 25 - 45 fps for quake and oblivion depending on what i'm doing...

Whats going on?

Thank you in advance for any help,

Regards,

Ginetti.
