i have just gotten cable and im am switching from 1.6 Mbs dsl from bellsouth to 5Mbs Cable from adelphia and i checked my bandwith with a moniter and its only going 305kbs and this is very slow i dont know the exact conversion for megabits to killabytes but i know this is to slow can anyone please help me it would be much appriciated.

cable speed depends on the number of users in your neighborhood using it. try again at off peak times.

the first site said that my donload is 98% worse then adelphia.net users im calling them is pissing me off
