My Norton Antivirus has expired and i'm wondering what would be a good replacement for it. I get a little confused on which programs are its equal in screening for viruses. Any advise would be appreciated. Oh did I mention it would be nice for it to be free.

Here are a couple of free ones, I use AVG and have had no problems since I installed it. I've not used Avast, but have heard good reports about it.

AVG Antivirus
Avast Home Edition
