I just bought a Dell E1505 with some of the most advanced technology, but now am finding that the computer freezes after starting up more often than not. I have been able to use it occasionally, and have seen that about 65 processes are running. In my experience that is way too many, but I don't know on a new computer like this. Please help me get this computer running to its potential: as fast as possible! (Just quickly, shouldn't my duo core processor be much faster than pentium M?) Thanks for any support you can offer.

Is that possible having had this system for only two days and it starting out like that?

Well if ou scan it anyway to be sure. If you bring up the processes then take a screen shot then post it here i can look and maybe help more.

You can also go HERE to see what each process is and does. it will also tell you if you can delete it or not.

Like Haz said, do a scan with your antivirus and anti malware programs.
