:tazz: why is it that i cant type until i hold down the "shift" key for 10 seconds?

well holding the shift key can enable/disable your sticky keys or shifty keys (not sure what its called) but I dont think that would have any effect on being able to type. Go to: http://members.amaon...jw/wintips.html there it says what pressing different key combo's can do. Good Luck! :tazz:

You can disable Sticky keys by going to control panel, clicking on keyboard, and disabling it in the keyboard properties window. Hope that helps.
