I didn't see a topic like this, so I might as well start one here.

What is everyone's favorite bands or artists? It can be a list or whatever. I have so many different favorites that it's hard for me to list them all here. Bit I'll put in the top 5 bands and artists that I'm currently into:

Alan Parsons Project: http://www.napster.com/artist/10460475
Rolling Stones: http://www.napster.com/artist/11551956
Rick Springfield: http://www.napster.com/artist/11507696
Little River Band: http://www.napster.com/artist/11511897
Three Dog Night: http://www.napster.com/artist/10000094

Poets of the Fall is pretty great.. Coldplay of course, umm The Crash, few other finnish bands YUP, Ruoska, Eläkeläiset (these sing in finnish,, The Crash & Poets in english). System of a Down is pretty good too.

Uhm there's about enough. Then songs/bands mixed up I listen to pretty much anything after those. :whistling:

Great topic! All time favorite? Boston. What can I say, I grew up in the 80's. I really don't listen to a lot of music anymore, mostly talk radio. :help: Lot's of favorite 80's bands Axe, Tesla, and of course AC/DC, Metallica and Judas Priest come to mind.
Why Boston? I could always pop in their cassette (and later CD) and get my mood lifted. I think eveyone has a band they can conect with. I wasn't a huge fan of their later stuff, and probably haven't listened to a CD of theirs for years, but still my favorite. Lately, I've been listening to a LOT of Johnny Cash (since I saw Walk the Line). :whistling:

Plus my daughter loves "Johnny". She always shakes her leg, and has started to "sing" along (at 16 months). :)

ohhh Blair! A man after my own heart!

I still LOVE my 80's rock. Metallica, Ozzy, GNR, Whitesnake, Winger, AC/DC, ummm I could list those all day :whistling:

I'm also a HUGE Country fan. Montgomery Gentry is my favorite..their live shows are absolutely amazing.

oh wait! You'll also find Green Day, Alanis Morrissette, Kenny G, Tesla, Pete Fountain, and many more on my winamp player.

I have a huge variety in taste of music, I guess.

Well, I like a lot of stuff, and go to quite a few concerts, so this probably isn't everything:

Incubus (probably my all-time favorite, and they absolutely blew me away in concert. If you'd like to see what they're like, get their Live at Red Rocks DVD)
Green Day
Keane
People in Planes
Flyleaf
Counting Crows
Coldplay
Bruce Springsteen
U2
Damien Marley (Bob's son)
Bob Marley
Linkin Park
AFI
Yellowcard
Panic! at the Disco
Shakira
Angels and Airwaves
Ben Harper
Depeche Mode
Lostprophets
A Perfect Circle
Tool
Anberlin
Matisyahu
Rock Kills Kid

Hmm, there's probably more, but I'm too old to remember them all. My 14 year old daughter is horrified that my husband and I both have myspace accounts, but it's more to keep track of music than for anything else.
