my dvd/cd drive isn't working, it shows up in my computer, but i cant get my games to work, games are store bought. can any one help.

Can the drive read any cd's at all? Or do you always get a error about putting a cd in the drive. If this is happening replace the drive. Newegg sells CD-RW/DVD drives for $25 and DVD-RW's for $35. It's really not worth the trouble to try finding out what the problem is. Usually they just plain work or don't.
