Tomb Raider HDR lighting seems to be rubbish

So I have now bought the game and have enabled HDR only to find that dark areas appear WAYYYYY to dark here is a screenshot showing just how bad it is. And at the main screen I only get 10 FPS with HDR and everything enabled.
Anyone else got this problem.
HELP I DONT KNOW HOW TO GET THE IMAGES FROM MY DOCUMENTS TO HERE I TRIED CLICKING THE PICTURE ICON AND IT SAYS SOMETHING ABOUT A URL.?????????/
