I have window2000 Pro O/S
And have a 60gb master drive, which has windows installed on it.
I have put in a new 250gb Samsung drive, attached to the secondary connector, made sure the jumper is set to Slave.
the Bios shows it as secondary/slave and at 250gb size.

Problem im having is when i go to 'computer management' from right clicking 'my computer' and 'manage' and 'disk management' , it shows Disk 0 - C:58gb NTFS - all ok no problem...

But Disk 1 it shows - 128.00GB unallocated ?????

Why is it not showing 250 gb ???

What do i need to do?

Is there any data on the new drive yet? If not, and you want to just have one partition then delet the current one (on the new drive NOT YOUR OS) and then you should be able to creat a new one that is 250 :whistling: (well proberly about 242 becase of S.M.A.R.T. but that is normal)
