Hello,
I am upgrading to a P4 and the PSU says it supports P4.
However it has a 20 pin connector not a 24 pin connector.
Is there a 20-24 pin converter for this like the 24 to 20 pin converter?
It has the extra motherboard power lines a P4 uses but the 4 pin connector looks a bit small.

PSU Specs: EG465P-VE FC 460W
Intel ATX 2.1 & ATX 12Ver. 1.2 compatable

Thanks,

Welcome to G2G

In answer to your first question - P4 ready means it must have the 4 pin square ATX12V power connector on it, as well as the main ATX connector. It doesn't mean it has to be a 24pin connector though.

You can buy 20pin to 24pin converters to make the main connecter fit your board. Just make sure you buy the right one - ie 20pin to 24pin & not the other way round! They look like this :

Thanks Samm.
That refreshed my memory on the information I had looked up on the PSU when I purchased it.
