I ATTEMPTED TO USE MY RECOVERY CD ON MY DESKTOP. RECOVERY DIDN'T FINISH. I GOT AN ERROR MESSAGE, "COULDN'T FIND ATTRIBS DAT". THEN THE PC DOWNLOADED NEW DRIVERSS. NOW MY PC HAS JUST A BLUE SCREEN. NOTHING ELSE. DID I DAMAGE MY HARD DRIVE? OR ERASED IT? I CHOSE RECOVER ONLY, NOT FORMAT.

You used a recovery cd so i am guessing you have a brand name computer.
is it a dell, Hp etc. Have you tried the recovery disk again?
They sometimes fail but do end up working after another go.
