Hi, ever since I got my new computer, it will randomly freeze while I play WoW or any type of game for that matter. The screen will just freeze and it will play the last sound over and over again. I ran speedfan and everest home edition. These are my specs:
AMD Athlon 64, 2200 MHz (11 x 200) 3500+
nVIDIA nForce4, AMD Hammer
1024 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
Sapphire RADEON X700 PRO Secondary (256 MB)
500 Watt PSU
Temps from Speedfan:
Temp 1:50C
Temp 2:42C
Temp 3:36C
For some reason, it doesn't detect my voltage but on everest, this is what it says about my voltage.
Temperatures:
GPU 43 °C (109 °F)
GPU Ambient 40 °C (104 °F)
WDC WD1600JB-00GVA0 39 °C (102 °F)

Voltage Values:
CPU Core 0.05 V
Aux 0.34 V
+3.3 V 0.24 V
+12 V 0.91 V
Any input would be great because this is getting annoying.

I tried updating my bios, but it's the latest version and I have the up to date video card drivers.

does this do it in other games/applications?

are you using onboard sound or a separate sound card?

Yeah it does do it in other games and I'm using onboard sound.
I also found this in a report by everest.
