i am curently running 98 but it crashes a lot is 2000 any more stable, or a better opperating system ?

yes personally windows 2000 is much more stable...but xp would prolly be better if your going to buy an operating system (windows 2003 should be out soon, you might wanna look at that, depending more on your pc use)
