I'm thinking about upgrading the sound on the computer. Any suggestions for this rig?

I was tired of my onboard sound but wasn't looking for any audio-in ports (such as mic connections etc.) so I went and bought myself a Creative SoundBlaster X-Fi XtremeMusic (the lowest of the X-Fi series). I noticed an immediate increase in sound quality and a tad better performance in games because adding the sound card stops some of the system resource usage that onboard audio uses.

If you want those front panel connectors, you can either buy the panel AFTER you buy this card (which I think is really cool) or the front panel comes with the next two highest X-Fi's (platinum and Fatal1ty).

For about $120 you can't go wrong with the Xtreme Music.
