Can't open wdb & wk3 files in XP

Can anyone tell me how to open some of my .wk3 and .wdb old files in XP?

.wk3 files were for lotus 123...microsoft excel should open them

.wdb files are microsoft works so get a copy of microsoft works

Thanks, I ran th etrial converter. All I get is a page of OOOOO's.
Any suggestios would be helpful,
