I too have the GeForce 5200 with 128MB DDR, and also like the war games such as Medal of Honor & Call of Duty ect....
But most times before I buy a game I download the Demo version if its available and give that a test drive first. Although the 5200 works great for the Allied Assault version I found that it stuttered (lagged) with the Pacific Assault version.
I had Windows ME at the time of my first trial with it and thought that may have something to do with it &/or spyware or a virus, so I Reformatted my H.D. installed Windows XP and with ONLY MOHPA (demo ver.) I had the same results.
So it wasn't my OS, addware, spyware, viruses or anything of that nature. I even replaced the a small heatsink with a larger one "and a fan" which it didn't have out of the box.
But like I said, download the demo from EA Games.com or? before you make up your mind.

The 5200 I have on one of our computers runs MOHPA fine and so does a friend of mine with the same card(although different system specs.).

Maybe u should look at your other system specs. or game settings.
As it's not neccessarily your card making the Game Lag.
The Game has some extra features, like the awesomely composed soundtrack for instance.

I've seen this card run that game fine on an Athlon 2400+ and an Athlon 3200.

Most games like Call Of Duty and Unreal Tournament are very processor oriented so if your running a low class celeron or other low processor (i.e.:lower than 2ghz), that may be your problem also make sure you refresh rate is set as high as possible cause it is your FPS after all and overclocking cards dont always help depends on the card i have my FX5200 128mb overclocked to a core of 350 but it doesnt help my unreal 2004 any.

I have the GeForce 5200 and i can't seem to play Halo Combat Evolved. i was able to play it before when i had an ATI 64mb. i then upgraded to the 5200 when a friend gave me his 5200, but now i can't seem to play halo. it starts off fine but once it gets to the main menu (where you choose to play campain, multi, setting, exit, etc.) it start to flash at me. it feels like i'm blinking my eyes really fast. any solutions? :tazz:

256MB RAM DDR memory is ok but most PC's come with 512MB or over 1GB RAM so your best to go to a 512MB module stick if your going for one :tazz:
