Hi console forum
I am having problems with my playstation 2 when I put my disc into the drive it doesn't matter what it is if it a cd dvd or game it will say reading disk for a few seconds then message will disappear and nothing happens is it a fault that can be fixed or could I convert my games onto the pc.

Your playstation's lense may be dirty. You could buy a cleaning kit and clean it, but be aware that opening you Playstation voids your warrenty (If you have one). Mine did this, I cleaned the lense and it worked like new.

Thanks for the help. My playstation 2 lense was dirty. I took it apart and cleaned it and it worked like new. Anyway thanks again for the help.
