I set up a small office network yesterday for my company. They wanted a shared folder on one computer to be reachable by all other computers on the network (all computers are wireless).

I notice that I can access the computers by IP address (e.g. \\192.168.15.150\share) but not by name (e.g. \\computername\share).

What am I missing?

Thanks!

Looking through the document you posted, I realize that I didn't double-check the following. I will check it tonight:

9. You should now be back at the “Local Area Connection Properties” window.
..........9A. Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), and then click the "Properties" button.
..........9B. Click the General tab, and then click Advanced.
..........9C. Click the WINS tab.
..........9D. Under NetBIOS setting, click "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP", and then click OK two times.
..........9E. Click Close to close the Local Area Connection Properties dialog box.
