Cant seem to get my task manager to open anymore

Ctrl+Alt+Delete does nothing, and when I try Run > taskmgr.exe it tells me another program is currently using it.
its been like this for about a month, and I cant seem to figure this one out.

I believe that there is some malware that causes this to make it more difficult to end the process(es) that it uses, so you should probably use HijackThis and post in the malware removal forum.

alright, I'll post a hijack on the malware forum.

aitrussky, when I type in regedit, it tells me its not a valid win32 application.

That's also a symptom of certain malware. The two go hand-in-hand often.
