:) I mentioned the video out of conversation, not trying to prove my point, nor am I trying to say that morse code is a better form of communication for the deaf. I was taught the Phonetic Alphabet in school, I still remember it, I think morse code should be taught also.

I think our dependence on electronics should be questioned. In todays world to bring most developed countries down especially the US an attack on electricity and electronic components would be devastating.

Sign language, morse code, compass reading, map reading, all that stuff should be taught. Anyone can use GPS and cell phones without much training.

we should aim at using technology to make less fortunate people more empowered & independent it should not be used to make our lives easier & easier.
a chewing machine i guess would be the last straw :)
