I have also 'repaired' the connection many times.... Please Help....here is a hijack this log in case u need it...

Dear interpolarity, :whistling:

Welcome to the Geeks to Go forums.

We are currently studying your log.
*************************************

The following is important. I would like you to disable the "real time" protection of your "Sunbelt's CounterSpy" anti-spyware software. After your computer is clean of spyware, you can re-enable the real time protection for this software. Here is how it can be done:

CounterSpy
  • Right-click the running icon of CounterSpy in the system tray.
  • With your mouse, hover over Active Protection Status (This should be enabled).
  • A menu will slide out and then you need to right click on "Disable Active Protection".
See the following links:

http://www.freedomli...ic.php?p=154686
http://wiki.castleco...toring_Programs

Restart your computer.
******************************

I also see from your HijackThis log that you have two antivirus software programs on your computer (i.e Norton Antivrus and McAfee Antivirus software).

Can you please tell me in detail if your yearly subscriptions to your Norton and McAfee antivirus software has expired?

Dear interpolarity, :whistling:

Since your are having problems accessing the Internet, please roll back your Internet Explorer browser to version 6.0.

You are currently running HijackThis from your desktop. Since HijackThis makes backups of any entries you fix, you should create a folder just to hold the HijackThis program and its backups, so the backups and the program are not accidentally deleted. Go to "My Computer", click on c:\ and then go to the "File" menu, choose New -> Folder. Name the folder "HJT" or "HijackThis" and then please move the "HijackThis.exe" executable there.

Restart your computer and post a new HijackThis log.
