When I shutdown my computer it restarts again about 30 seconds later. I checked all my power options, their normal. Computer has an intel 3.0 with asus motherboard(if that helps at all)

Had this problem after I reinstalled Win XP and updated it.
Check out

It has several things you should check and it helped me solved the problem on my system.
