Hi there,

I'm new to this forum, so please forgive me for everything that follows...

I my apartment, my roomate has his computer setup with a cable modem, that runs into a router, which then runs into his computer. When you use his internet, it takes forever to connect to a page, then load it, It eventually gets there, but it is a nightmare. The kicker is that using an online "Internet Connection Test" it gives the connection big ratings which is great. Now, when I plug my laptop into the router to use the internet, i have no problems at all, which leads me to it being his computer having software or hardware troubles. Does anyone have any idea of what it may be? Has anyone had a similar problem. Whatever information you need about his computer I'll get so you can help me out.
