My Dell XPS 200 did not come with an XP CD, I assume its recovery/repair is partitioned in the hard drive somwhere.
My computer wont start in any mode, giving the BSOD error 0x24.
Can I somehow repair or reinstall XP without the CD?

i don't know how old your computer is but in october of 2005 some dell systems were shipped with norton ghost as a recovery option (if you didn't get a disk from dell...it's probably got this..as dell always sends a disk)

during boot press ctrl f11 when you see the "dell" screen...this SHOULD bring up the recovery utility

Thank you. My System Date is 10/18/2005, all it came with was Mcafee Security center backup and a monitor drive disc.

I have tried to do the ctrl + F11 at the Dell splash screen to no avail, it will not enter the utility function.
