Hey, i have a BenQ external DVD RW running on my laptop and it will sometimes work perfectly (like yesterday) but today when i turned on my computer and tried to burn something the device wasn't present. I tried to disconnect it, reboot, nothing worked, i called BenQ and was told to update the firmware but i can't update it because my computer doesn't see it, is there any sugestions of how to make my computer see my burner

EDIT: Tried the CDGone patch and it didn't work also tried on a different computer and with different cables
