I was wondering if it is possible to configure a Playstation 2 Logitech USB Headset (1 Mic, 1 Headphone Speaker) to work only as a microphone. It's annyong hearing all the sounds with just one headphone speaker. I would rather it work as a mic, and let all the sound come from my desktop speakers.

I run WinXP SP2, and have a Creative SB Live! Sound card.

Thank you in advance.

Click start, control panel, sounds and speech, sounds and audio

Click the audio and also the voice tabs to set the playback device as the soundcard

The voice recording will be the headset

Click apply if you change anything
