when trying to reinstall norton antivirus 2005 my will not let me install at all. i click on the icon to install and all i get is the hour glass come up for about a second then goes off, and it will not go any further !,i have tried the same disk in 2 other pcs and it works fine, is there something on my pc stopping it.
Ive unistalled every folder that contains norton, but still no joy
i have run a hijack this log and it is here, can someone please help me as it is driving me nuts.

im using etrust antivirus at the moment but i want to use norton if i can,

First off, I have to ask why you are trying to re-install Norton. I see that in addition to Norton, you already have McAfee, and possibly eTRust, or at least an installer for eTrust? Having more than one anti-virus program is a really bad idea - they will cause conflicts with one another and other programs, they will make you more vulnerable to infection, and they will slow down your PC. I need to know which of these programs you actually want, and/or which ones have current subscriptions.

Also, I need you to navigate to this directory, and tell me the FULL path and folder name:

C:\DOCUME~1\kevin\LOCALS~1\Temp\pftF~tmp\Setup.exe

It will be in C:\Documents and Settings\kevin\local settings\temp, but I need to know the full folder name that begins with pftF. Also, if you know what this is, please tell me.
