ok, today my computer was freezing up all the time and the mouse wasn't moving, due to *software installation problems* so I decided I'd run system recovery. Now, I've done this before and it saved all of my pictures and iTunes songs, but this time it appears that it didn't. Maybe my files are backed up somewhere? Please help! I'd like to get all of these special pictures and 500+ songs back!

I just want to confirm that this is System Restore, which was preinstalled by Microsoft? I'm just checking to make sure you're not using Norton GoBack or something.
