How to Clear search from google toolbar beta ?

Dear experts,

I was looking for the "clear search" button in new beta version of google toolbar .. but i can't find any ...
so plz anyone help me out to clear it

On the left hand side of the tool bar, Click on the word Google or the arrow to the right of it ( not inside the actual search window) and in the drop down menu click on "Clear Search History"

Is that what you were looking for ?

Don .. i m talking about .. the new beta version .. the option you are suggesting was in previous versions of google toolbar .. you can see the image

Did you try clicking on the word Google to the left of the search window ?

yup, i have also clicked on Google button .. but its a link toward google website i.e. www.google.com
