What is Remote Temperature

I downloaded speed fan and i was wondering what Remote temp is monitoring.

my CPU Temp is 45
my HDQ Temp is 35
my Ambient Temp is 46
and Remote Temp is 66????

I am not sure. I use speedfan myself and don't recall seeing that. Go to http://www.almico.com/speedfan.php
and check out what the author has to say. You can even email him if you want.

Great artical found the solution

"Remote" is the temperature read from a "remote" probe.
So basically there is a thermometer whitch is located right below my graphics card.
