USB cable restarting computer

It sounds like a possible driver issue. Do you have the latest software from the camera manufacturer's website?

Cannot be camera driver because it's two different cameras - Olympus & Fuji both with own software and with own USB cable. I tried on two different computers which btw working on nerwork and in both case happened same. The moment I touck plug with usb cable computer restarting itself. Rescue solution I am using is: before starting computer I pluging USB cable and after booting connect to camera and it working that way. But this is not solution in case I need to download pics from camera as many time during the day as I need to. Any clue?
