i was given a computer, and now i want to go thru and make sure all the bios settings are correct, and enable bus mastering, but this motherboard doesn't say what to press, it just shows a compaq sign. i want to also add a dvd-rom, a Matshita DVD-Rom SR-8583. I am going to try to change the jumper settings on the optical drives, but i still need to know how to get the bios settings.

thanks

Compaq boards are usually press F10 to get into system setup, or just alternate between F1, F2 and DEL. These bioses are often non-standard so don't expect to see an option for bus mastering.
