Well, if you have your Windows XP Full Edition CD, that right there is bootable. Do you have one?

a bootable cd of what? as in what are you trying to burn to be bootable?

Make up a bootable floppy. Burn files to the CD. Tell Nero (or whatever) to use the floppy to make the CD bootable. Get it burnt. Test it. Redo if it doesn't work.
