Hi...i have a linksys router...and i have it hooked up to my dekstop computer with an ethernet cable....When i hook it up on windows...it sometimes works but then won't connect to the internet...even though it still says: Connected

but on my knoppix live cd i press network configuration and with a click of a mouse it works perfectly...how is that?

Any help?
