DVD RW drive not finding DVDs

I'm running Windows XP SP2 and using the DVD Drive TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-L532R on a HP L2000 Livestrong Laptop. When I put in a blank DVD it doesn't find the disk. I'm Trying to burn a ISO onto it. Does anyone know how I can fix this problem?

Try going to the drive manufacturer's website and updating the drivers for that model.

when u go to my computer do u see the dvd drive? is it recognized?
