I have a PS2 game that will only work on broadband and/or ethernet. How do I get the game started up? Do I load it first on the PS2, or do I somehow hook my PS2 up to the computer? :whistling:

You have to have a Broadband connection. You also must get a router, along with a Ethernet cable cord. This will run you over $160. I don't suggest it though, good routers are expensive, plus routers cause problems, therefore equal as problems.

The PS2 online service isnt all that developed and unless the game is newish or very popular you might find it hard to get good servers and people to play with.

If you look on the sony site i think they have a guide on how to connect to the internet.

The process is much easier if you have the Slim version of PS2.
If you have the old version, do you have the network adapter?

The Slim PS2 comes with a Network Adapter. The older version of the PS2 doesn't come with one, and the cheapest Network Adapter I think is around $25, the decent standard version is around $37, price may have went down, since I last checked, I am not sure. Online gaming through a PS2 isn't worth it. Plus as Warrior said, it will be hard to find a decent server with hardly no latency, unless the game is relatively new. Also, Ethernet cords can be extremly expensive if your PS2 is from from your Computer. I used to have a Network Adapter but I returned it, and got my money back, so I know how to hook one up, and use it correctly. Like I said though, it isn't worth it. So if you went out and bought a Network Adapter or Ethernet/ USB Cord, I suggest returning it.
