mic muting

hi,

im looking for a (preferrably) stand-alone program that has a mute button for the mic. just something that would sit near the taskbar and u could just click it on and off to mute/unmute. or even a push button alternative would be great.

couldnt find anything anywhere :blink:

thanks in advance

btw: the mic is attached to a USB headset. :whistling:

That's a strange request :whistling:

I haven't found anything yet, but until then it look like opening the sound center (double click sound icon) and clicking the mute button for the mic is the best way to do it.
